There were no reported casualties; however, the plane was damaged in the attack. The Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the incident.

Criteria
Criteria 1

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
