09/19/2014: Assailants opened fire on a market in Mainok town, Borno state, Nigeria. At least 34 people, including 13 assailants, were killed and an unknown number were injured in the assault, which lasted until the following day. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
