09/30/2014: An explosive device detonated as a police officer attempted to remove an Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) flag in Daquq area, Kirkuk, Iraq. Three police officers were killed in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
