Incident Summary:

10/02/2014: Two suicide bombers detonated explosives-laden vehicles at a Haftar militia checkpoint near the airport in Benghazi city, Benghazi district, Libya. In addition to the assailants, at least seven soldiers were killed and 52 others were wounded by the blast. This was one of two coordinated attacks on the militia in the area on this day. The Shura Council of Benghazi Revolutionaries claimed responsibility for the incident in coordination with Ansar al-Sharia (Libya) and Libya Shield Forces.
