10/19/2014: An explosive device detonated near an Egyptian Army armored vehicle providing protection for a natural gas pipeline in Arish city, North Sinai governorate, Egypt. At least seven soldiers were killed and four others were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources suspect that Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis (Ansar Jerusalem) was behind the attack.
