11/01/2014: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle at an Afghan Local Police (ALP) checkpoint in Azra district, Logar province, Afghanistan. In addition to the bomber, nine security personnel were killed and 20 civilians were injured in the blast. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
