11/30/2014: Assailants opened fire on a National Congress (NC) sarpanch in Shopian district, Jammu and Kashmir state, India. The sarpanch, Mohammad Sultan Bhat, was killed in the assault. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
