Incident Summary:

12/05/2014: Assailants armed with grenades and firearms carried out a fidayeen (suicide) attack on a military camp in Mohara area, Jammu and Kashmir state, India. At least 17 people, including assailants, police officers and soldiers, were killed, while four soldiers were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, a source attributed the attack to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). In addition, sources attributed the attack to Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM).
