02/10/2015: Assailants abducted six Local Coordination Committees (LCC) journalists in Irbin town, Damascus governorate, Syria. One of the hostages was released shortly after the abduction while the fate of the remaining victims is unknown. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic Front (Syria).
