04/05/2015: An explosive device detonated near an Egyptian National Police (ENP) checkpoint on 15 May Bridge in Zamalek neighborhood, Cairo city, Cairo governorate, Egypt. At least one police officer was killed and three other people, including one officer, were wounded in the blast. Ajnad Misr claimed responsibility and stated that the attack was carried out to avenge the death of the group's leader.
