Incident Summary:

04/06/2015: Assailants abducted Gemma Adana in Taytay Manubo village, Naga district, Zamboanga Sibugay province, Philippines. Adana, the mayor of Naga, was released unharmed on October 13, 2015. The Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) claimed responsibility for the attack. However, sources attributed the attack to the Waning Abdusalam Group (WAG).
