05/28/2015: Assailants attacked Syrian Armed Forces (SAF) soldiers along eastern Ariha city, Idlib governorate, Syria. There were an unknown number of casualties in the incident. This was one of three related attacks in Ariha on the same day. Ahrar al-Sham, Al-Nusrah Front, and Al-Sham Legion all claimed responsibility for the incidents.

Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.

Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
