Incident Summary:

06/25/2015: Assailants detonated an explosive device and opened fire on a military checkpost in Lower Kurram district, Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Pakistan. Six people, including two soldiers and four assailants, were killed and two soldiers were wounded in the attack. Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the Khorasan Chapter of the Islamic State separately claimed responsibility for the incident.
