06/30/2015: Assailants attacked villagers in Monguno district, Borno, Nigeria. This was one of two similar raids on villages in Monguno on this date. At least 48 people were killed and 17 people were injured across both assaults. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to Boko Haram.
