Incident Summary:

08/02/2015: Assailants attacked a herding camp in an attempt to steal cattle in Malegbassa village, Basse-Kotto prefecture, Central African Republic. Between this and an uncoordinated related attack the next day, four people were killed and four were injured in the attacks. Anti-Balaka militia members claimed responsibility for the incident.
