Incident Summary:

08/22/2015: Two suicide bombers detonated an explosives-laden vehicle inside a Jubaland Forces (JF) training camp in Kismayo, Lower Juba region, Somalia. In addition to the two bombers, at least 25 soldiers were killed and 30 others were injured in the blast. The victims included African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) advisors and Kenyan soldiers as well as Jubaland Forces (JF) personnel. Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility and stated that the attack was carried out in retaliation for recent military operations, although sources refuted the claim.
