Incident Summary:

08/22/2015: Assailants opened fire on Ashraf al-Armoushi at a funeral at the refugee camp in Ain al-Hilweh, South governorate, Lebanon. Al-Armoushi, a Fatah security chief, was not harmed, but at least two people, including one bodyguard, were killed and another 12 people, including one bodyguard, were injured in the assault and ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Jund al-Sham for Tawhid and Jihad.
