08/29/2015: An explosive device detonated targeting the vehicle of General Nasser Al-Abd in Itsa city, Faiyum governorate, Egypt. Al-Abd, the Faiyum security director, was not harmed in the blast. The Revolutionary Punishment Movement claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that Al-Abd was responsible for killing members of the group.
