Incident Summary:

09/09/2015: Two suicide bombers in explosives-laden vehicles detonated at a Syrian Armed Forces (SAF) post in Deir ez-Zor governorate, Syria. Following the blasts, additional assailants attacked the soldiers at the post. At least 54 people, including 18 soldiers and 36 assailants, were killed and 50 other assailants were injured in the blast and the ensuing clash. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attack.
