11/05/2015: Assailants opened fire on Sheikh Faraj al-Obeidi in Ajdabiya town, Wahat district, Libya. Al-Obeidi, an imam, was killed in the attack. The Barqa Province of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that Sheikh Faraj al-Obeidi was targeted because the group believed he was an apostate.
