12/20/2015: A roadside bomb detonated targeting the vehicle of Major General Mostafa Al-Razaz along Al-Bahr Street in Arish city, North Sinai governorate, Egypt. Al-Razaz, the North Sinai deputy director of security, was unharmed in blast. The Sinai Province of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that the attack was carried out in retaliation for the detainment of female members of the Muslim community by the military.
