12/24/2015: Security forces stopped five assailants carrying explosives in food containers at the Medinatu Mosque in Maiduguri, Borno, Nigeria. The assailants were arrested and the explosives were defused. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the unsuccessful attack to Boko Haram.
