Incident Summary:
01/15/2016: Assailants attacked a security post in Rahim village, Gereshk district, Helmand province, Afghanistan. This was one of two similar attacks targeting security posts in Gereshk district on this date. At least 35 assailants were killed and thee soldiers and 14 assailants were injured in the ensuing clashes. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.

Criteria 1
