02/05/2016: Assailants attacked an army checkpoint in Kabara neighborhood, Timbuktu, Mali. There were no reported casualties in the attack. This was one of two coordinated attacks in the city on the same day. Al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) claimed responsibility for the incidents.
