Incident Summary:

02/05/2016: An assailant threw two incendiary devices at the Ernst-August-Galerie mall in Hanover, Lower Saxony, Germany. There were no reported casualties in the attack. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources identified the assailant as Saleh Schmitter. Schmitter had previously been in contact with the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) during a trip to Turkey.
