Incident Summary:

02/06/2016: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle targeting a military convoy near the Ain al-Asad airbase outside of Al-Baghdadi, Al Anbar, Iraq. In addition to the assailant, at least nine soldiers were killed and 16 soldiers were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
