02/07/2016: An assailant stabbed and wounded an Israeli soldier in Neot Ashkelon neighborhood, Ashkelon city, Southern district, Israel. Security forces shot and killed the attacker after he fled the scene. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities attributed the attack to Kamel Hasan, a Sudanese national.
