Incident Summary:

02/17/2016: Pakistani Police officers intercepted a dozen assailants who were attempting to carry out an attack in Sheikhupura district, Punjab province, Pakistan. At least seven assailants were killed in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.
