02/24/2016: Assailants attempted to abduct two traders from a market in Gabil, Meghalaya, India. The assailants opened fire on responding police officers and injured one officer. The traders were released following the clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Garo National Liberation Army.
