02/27/2016: Assailants armed with mortars and firearms attacked Tall Abyad, Raqqah governorate, Syria. At least 75 people, including 20 People's Protection Units (YPG) soldiers, 10 civilians, and 45 assailants, were killed and an unknown number of others were injured in the ensuing clash. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident.
