Incident Summary:

02/27/2016: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle at a Syrian Armed Forces (SAF) checkpoint in Salamiyah city, Hamah governorate, Syria. In addition to the bomber, at least two soldiers were killed and four others were injured in the blast. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attack.
