02/28/2016: Assailants abducted Shyam Sikaka, a suspected police informant, in Dangamati village, Rayagada district, Odisha state, India. The outcome of the abduction is unknown. This was one of two similar kidnappings in the area on the same day. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to Maoists.
