Incident Summary:

02/29/2016: Assailants abducted Rady Soliman Abu Sabie and his son in Arish, North Sinai, Egypt. Sabie was publicly beheaded and his son was shot and killed shortly after the abduction. The Sinai Province of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that Rady Soliman Abu Sabie and Soliman were targeted because the group believed they were spies.
