03/05/2016: Assailants kidnapped and executed 20 civilians in Mosul, Nineveh, Iraq. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the abduction to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and stated that the victims were accused of vandalizing ISIL signs.
