Incident Summary:

03/05/2016: Assailants raided Tabane village in Haut-Mbomou, Central African Republic. Eleven people, including the former village chief, were abducted during the raid. The chief was killed, while six hostages were released shortly after the abduction. The whereabouts of the remaining four hostages are unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA).
