03/21/2016: Assailants attacked Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (FARDC) soldiers in Batumbi, Orientale, Democratic Republic of the Congo. At least two soldiers were killed in the incident. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Patriotic Resistance Front in Ituri (FRPI).
