Incident Summary:

03/30/2016: Assailants detonated an explosive device and opened fire on a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) vehicle in Dantewada district, Chhattisgarh, India. Seven CRPF members were killed and several others were injured in the attack. The Communist Party of India - Maoist (CPI-Maoist) claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that the attack was carried out in retaliation for military operations against the group.
