Incident Summary:

04/01/2016: Assailants attacked a military convoy in Janale, Lower Shebelle, Somalia. At least 23 assailants were killed in the ensuing clash. Additionally, an unknown number of soldiers were killed and wounded in the clash. No group claimed responsibility for the attack; however, sources attributed the incident to Al-Shabaab.
