04/14/2016: Assailants opened fire on a police vehicle in Khurmabi, Takhar, Afghanistan. At least eight people, including a police commander were killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.

Criteria 1

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
