Incident Summary:

04/23/2016: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle at a security checkpoint in Rashidiyah, Diyala, Iraq. In addition to the assailant, at least nine people, including soldiers and civilians, were killed and 28 people were injured in the blast. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident.
