Incident Summary:
04/28/2016: Assailants attacked Zadran, Ishkamish district, Takhar, Afghanistan. This was one of two incidents in Ishkamish on the same day. At least 22 people, including one Afghan Police officer and 21 assailants, were killed and five police officers were injured in the ensuing clashes; additionally, civilians sustained an unknown number of casualties. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban and Jundallah.

Criteria 1
