04/29/2016: Assailants opened fire on Colonel Marwan Abdulalim in Aden city, Adan governorate, Yemen. Abdulalim, the Yemeni Traffic Police Chief in Yemen, was killed in the assault. The Adan-Abyan Province of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack. Sources also attributed the incident to Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP).
