Incident Summary:

05/05/2016: Assailants detonated an explosive device targeting a crude oil pipeline in Delta, Nigeria. This was one of two attacks on pipelines in the area on the same day. There were no reported casualties resulting from the blasts. The Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that the attack was carried out because Chief Government Ekpemupolo did not apologize to the group.
