Incident Summary:

05/07/2016: Two Afghan police officers opened fire on North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) personnel at Kandahar International Airport in Kandahar, Afghanistan. Two Romanian soldiers were killed and another Romanian soldier was injured in the attack. Both assailants were killed when NATO soldiers returned fire. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
