Incident Summary:
05/10/2016: Assailants attacked a police security checkpoint in Nad Ali district, Helmand, Afghanistan. This was one of two related attacks targeting police security checkpoints in different areas of Helmand on this date. Fifteen police officers were killed and two others were abducted across both attacks. The outcome of the kidnapping is unknown. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incidents.
