Incident Summary:

05/11/2016: Assailants attacked security posts in Char Qala area, Shindand district, Herat, Afghanistan. This was one of two coordinated attacks in the district on the same day. At least 35 assailants were killed and 40 assailants were injured in the ensuing clashes. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Taliban.
