05/17/2016: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle at a produce market in Sadr City area, Baghdad city, Baghdad governorate, Iraq. In addition to the assailant, at least 16 people were killed and 35 people were injured in the blast. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident.
