Incident Summary:

05/18/2016: Assailants set fire to a boys' school in Manogay, Kunar, Afghanistan. There were no reported casualties. This was one of three related arson attacks targeting schools in Manogay on this date. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incidents to the Taliban. Sources also suspected that Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, a subgroup of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), may have carried out the attacks.
