06/08/2016: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle at a police headquarters in Midyat, Mardin, Turkey. In addition to the assailant, at least six people, including police officers and civilians, were killed and 51 people were injured in the blast. The Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) claimed responsibility for the incident.
