Incident Summary:

06/13/2016: An assailant opened fire at a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) checkpoint in Kud, Jammu and Kashmir, India. The assailant and one civilian were killed and five people, including three police officers and two civilians, were injured in the attack and ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to separatists.
